Casa Di Veneto, along with many other residences in the area, constitutes the “Frank” district of the upper class during the Venetian Rule (1211-1669 AD) in Crete. Three of the suites were inherited and the rest were bought with great effort and renovated with passion and respect for the region’s history.

The restoration started in 2005 and was completed in the spring of 2009. The decoration and furnishing of the suites were made exclusively by the owners with selectively antique furniture, paintings, decorative designs and lighting from Avissinias square at Monastiraki in Athens and Mytiline too. Also, all of the carpets in the hotel are eastern handmade.

All of our suites include mattresses, upper mattresses, beddings, towels, bathrobes, slippers and mosquito nets, all by COCO-MAT, made by natural-ecological products in order to offer you “quality sleep”. Furthermore, in the suites you will find APIVITA’s all-natural beauty and health care products.

In addition, all of our suites include plasma TV with satellite channels, mini stereo sound system, ADSL internet access, mini bar fridge, air condition and whirlpool shower.

In the quiet and tasteful lobby you can read your favorite book, while in the small but cozy café “Borgo”, in the courtyard, you can relax enjoying your afternoon coffee accompanied by a spoon sweet, your wine or a refreshing drink accompanied by soft music and, if you like, a good Cuban cigar from our humidors.

In the evening, we can prepare you either a light dinner or a seasonal salad, using fresh and local ingredients with drops of extra virgin olive oil.
